Taylor's Publicist Plays Down Health Scare

Hollywood star Dame Elizabeth Taylor's publicist has denied reports the actress is on death's door - insisting she's waiting to be laid-off from hospital. The 76-year-old is aforementioned to birth been admitted to a medical centre on 15 July after being diagnosed with pneumonia, but her condition reportedly worsened in the undermentioned days. Taylor then suffered congestive heart failure on Wednesday night and was placed on a respiration machine, according to yellow journalism, the National Enquirer. But the star's spokesperson insists her health problems have been overdone - and that the actress' hospital stint was a bare precaution. The rep says, "Ms. Taylor is fine. The rumours which began in England about her health ar dramatic, overdone and false. Her hospital visit was precautionary. She will be returning home shortly. At present, she is surrounded by category, friends and fabulous jewels." Taylor - who suffers from diabetes and osteoporosis - has been plagued with health problems over the final few long time. She was first diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2004 and has endured two hip replacement operations and the removal of a benign genius tumour in 1997.
